The Saudi
Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter of the American Chemical
Society (SAICSC-ACS) and the Bahrain Society of Chemists (BSC) are pleased
to announce the 7th International Conference and Exhibition on Chemistry
in Industry, CHEMINDX 2007. This conference will be held under the
patronage of his highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime
Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Gulf International Convention
Center, Gulf Hotel, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, March 26-28,
2007.
The
event is the seventh in a series of bi-annual meetings which began in 1992
and addresses the latest advances in industrial chemistry. The conference
will feature several technical sessions with keynote presentations by
prominent industry professionals from around the world, and will include a
plenary session entitled “Oil to Petrochemicals: Future Opportunities and
Challenges”. In addition, there will be a series of two-day courses
conducted in the days immediately prior to the conference.
This
upcoming conference will reinforce the mission of previous conferences to
address the challenges facing the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industries
in the region. This conference also offers an excellent opportunity for
scientists and engineers from the Gulf region, Middle East and worldwide
to discuss issues of common interest. The exhibition, which will be held
in conjunction with the technical sessions will provide an excellent
opportunity for companies to display their latest products and services,
under one roof, to all concerned participants in this field.
